Light always finds a way. Sometimes words spring forth from my mouth before I get a chance to fully comprehend what I am saying. Certainly with this statement, it seems too obvious. Of course light always finds away.
Yet sometimes in life, as obvious as it is, we can find ourselves in a place where one begins to question where light even is. Is it on the horizon?
Recently, I read the following quote..
“Its always darkest before the dawn.” And yet, we experience the same cycle everyday. We ought to know by now that darkness will always give way to the light.
“The sun is new each day” – Heraclitus
With this, we have faith and confidence that though it is very dark right now, arriving on the scene next is light. Though we might not feel it. We might even doubt it. But it just has to. Light must find a way.
And so we wait expectantly for its arrival. And you know what? In its perfect timing… it will.
“A light that thrives in the depths of darkness, blazes through murky bottoms. It cannot and will not be quenched.” – John 1:5 (The Voice)
